Outcomes

v3.0

Droppii for Business v3.0 shipped to B2B clients and high-volume sellers — a re-architected platform with new ERP, CMS, and dashboard layers underneath it.

Web, iOS, and Android — a single seller experience unified across three surfaces, with consistent flows for store, inventory, and fulfilment management.

Overview

Droppii runs one of the larger dropshipping ecosystems in Vietnam and the wider region — a marketplace where independent sellers move product without holding inventory, and where the back-office tooling either keeps up with that volume or quietly becomes the bottleneck.

The brief was a rebuild rather than a redesign. Droppii’s first platform had been put together quickly, and the surface that worked for a launch sprint wasn’t the right surface for the next phase of the business. They wanted a partner who could pair with their backend team, lift the user-facing experience, and run the project end-to-end without slowing the internal team down.

We worked with Droppii’s engineers across two phases — shipping Droppii for Business v3.0 to B2B sellers, then extending it with the dashboard, CMS, and ERP layers the business needed underneath. The platform that came out is steadier, easier to extend, and built to absorb the next set of features without another rush.

01.

A platform built in a sprint, now hitting its ceiling.

90-day rush · UX gaps · backend-heavy team

Droppii's original platform came out of a fast-moving "90 Days Rushing" phase — enough to get the dropshipping business off the ground, not enough to carry it through what came next. The team was strong on backend and business data, but the user-facing surface had been deprioritised, and the roadmap had grown faster than the engineering bench. They needed a partner who could fill the UX and frontend gap, extend the team without slowing it down, and run the project alongside their own leads. We started by reading the existing systems, the product, and the way the team worked together, then drafted a path to a more deliberate platform from there.

02.

A controlled rebuild, in two phases.

Web · iOS · Android · ERP · CMS

We worked the rebuild in two passes rather than one big-bang release. The first phase, run side-by-side with Droppii's engineers, was about getting Droppii for Business v3 into sellers' hands — a cross-platform experience across web, iOS, and Android with an interface shaped around how business users actually move through the day. The second phase went after the operational tooling that had been holding back the back office: a new dashboard for visibility, a CMS for keeping content current without engineering, and an upgraded set of business-management modules. Automated testing was wired into Droppii's existing pipeline so the surface area we'd just opened up wouldn't quietly degrade.

03.

Better visibility, smoother fulfilment, room to grow.

Adoption · operations · platform foundation

Business users responded well to the v3 release — the improved tooling and clearer data made day-to-day operations easier to run and easier to reason about. Underneath, the platform was no longer carrying the constraints of the original rush build, which mattered as much for what came next as for what shipped. The work was less a one-off delivery than a foundation: a steadier surface for sellers, a cleaner base for Droppii's own team to extend, and a partnership that kept moving past v3 into the features the ecosystem needed afterwards.
