Reduction in transaction fees versus traditional cross-border methods, achieved by routing payments over Bitcoin Lightning.
Instant
Near-instant settlement across the platform's Lightning rails, supporting micro-transactions that legacy rails couldn't make viable.
Neutronpay delivers Lightning Network payment infrastructure designed for instant, low-fee cryptocurrency transactions. The platform sits between Bitcoin Lightning and the traditional payment providers merchants and customers already use — fast settlement underneath, a familiar payments surface on top.
We embedded our engineers directly with Neutronpay’s technical leadership to build the platform’s scalable microservices, real-time APIs, and cross-platform wallet experiences. The remit ran from backend architecture through to user-facing apps, with speed, reliability, and integration with traditional payment rails as the through-line.
The collaboration helped Neutronpay ship a streamlined crypto payment solution across Southeast Asia and beyond — Lightning under the hood, multi-currency wallets on top, and engineering shared closely enough that the technical capacity stayed with the team after launch.
Cross-border card payments come with fees that make small-ticket commerce uneconomic and settlement windows that stretch over days. Cryptocurrency, on its own, solves part of that but introduces wallet sprawl, custody friction, and an interface most users aren't ready for. The platform had to land somewhere between the two — Lightning underneath, a familiar payments surface on top, and the integrations to keep both ends honest.

We worked alongside Neutronpay's technical leadership on the Lightning side first — node operations with high availability, automated channel and liquidity management, and routing that survives an unreliable network. Around that core, we shipped a Go-based microservices backend, a PostgreSQL ledger with Redis caching, and a GraphQL API gateway sized to fan out across wallet, merchant, and admin clients.

The same backend feeds a React admin dashboard for operations and a React Native wallet for end users — both wired into the same real-time APIs and the same monitoring. Lightning routing keeps fees roughly an order of magnitude below traditional cross-border rails, multi-currency support sits behind a single wallet surface, and the integration APIs let third-party providers plug in without bespoke work each time.
